Trzeszczyn (Trestin) - the first written record of the village was made in 1298. Since then its name recurred in 1336 (on the registration of its 15 farmsteads), 1621 (destruction by fire) and 1833. The houses for the workers of Police's synthetic petrol plant "Hydrierwerke" were constructed in 1938.
