Establishment of the regular connection to Szczecin contributed to the development of Msciecino. Numerous visitors used to walk from the wooden railway station (built in 1898) to the nearby restaurants scattered in the Msciecinski forest. In 1910 the rail line was extended, linking Msciecino and the other tourist resort, Trzebiez.
